Shopware is one of the most flexible e-commerce platforms available, built on Symfony and designed for merchants who need more than an out-of-the-box store. We have been building, customizing, and maintaining Shopware stores since our team started in 2016, and we know the platform from the storefront down to the plugin architecture underneath it.
Whether you are launching a new Shopware 6 store, migrating an existing store from Shopware 5, or need an integration that off-the-shelf plugins do not cover, we build it as custom code that fits directly into your store rather than a workaround bolted on top of it.
WHAT WE BUILD
Custom Storefront Development
Storefront themes and layouts built on Shopware 6's Symfony and Twig architecture, tailored to your brand rather than a generic template.
Plugin Development
Custom plugins for checkout logic, pricing rules, shipping methods, and anything else the Shopware Store does not already solve for your business.
Shopware 5 to 6 Migration
Migrating products, customers, orders, and historical data from Shopware 5 to a modern Shopware 6 store, with a plan for redirects and SEO continuity.
Third-Party Integrations
ERP, PIM, payment gateway, and shipping provider integrations connected directly into Shopware, so your store is not left as a data island.
Performance Optimization
Caching, query, and asset optimization aimed at real Core Web Vitals improvements, since a slow storefront costs you both conversions and rankings.
Ongoing Support & Maintenance
Version upgrades, security patches, and small feature requests handled on a retainer, so your store keeps running without surprises.
Why Work With Us On Shopware Development Services
- Real Shopware experience since 2016 — not a generalist PHP shop that also happens to touch Shopware.
- We write plugins the Shopware way, through the plugin system rather than core hacks, so platform upgrades do not break your customizations.
- Direct communication with the developer actually working on your store, not an account manager relaying messages.
- Fixed-scope quotes for clearly defined work, so you know the cost before anything starts.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much does a custom Shopware development project cost?
It depends entirely on scope — a single custom plugin is a very different project from a full storefront build or a Shopware 5 to 6 migration. Tell us what you need through the contact form and we will give you a fixed quote before any work starts.
Can you work with our existing Shopware store, or does it need to be a new build?
Most of our Shopware work is on existing stores — adding plugins, fixing performance issues, or building integrations into a store that is already live. We do not require a rebuild before we can start working with you.
Do you support Shopware 5 stores, or only Shopware 6?
Shopware 5 has reached end of life, so our focus is Shopware 6, including migrating existing Shopware 5 stores onto it. We can advise on the migration path if you are still running Shopware 5.
How long does a typical Shopware plugin take to build?
A focused, well-defined plugin, such as a custom shipping rule, a checkout field, or a specific integration, typically takes one to three weeks depending on complexity. Larger storefront or migration projects run longer, and we will give you a realistic timeline with your quote.
